HD Words is one of three winners of a stand at Cornwall Business Fair, in a competition run by Outset Cornwall. The Fair, at the Eden Project on 13 May, is a tremendous opportunity to promote this business, make contacts, and hopefully acquire customers. Thankyou Outset Cornwall!
Outset Cornwall has supported me through the journey to becoming self-employed. The Introduction to Enterprise course, followed by the Business Start Up course furnished me with a wide range of information, from unlocking my creativity, presenting my ideas, marketing, and two tremendously helpful sessions on finance. I would probably have gone down this road without them, but I’m not sure I’d be making a go of it!
Winning this competition has given me a tremendous psychological boost, even before the event takes place. Knowing people believe in my business idea, and think I can make it work, is valuable to a new startup, so I’m very grateful to the Outset Cornwall team for their help, and faith in me.
