I wrote the text for this website, for the Garrack Hotel in St Ives, Cornwall, across three weeks earlier in the year, having won the tender to produce it. I was taken on a tour of the hotel and restaurant by Jo, who is responsible for marketing there. We spoke at length to establish the content and feel they required for the website, as well as the target audience, and particular areas to emphasize. After the inevitable back-and-forth, and a few technical hitches, it’s now online.
Please go and have a look, for an example of my writing. This is quite a formal style, but intended to be friendly and welcoming, to draw people in.
