Blogs, Articles and Case Studies

Blogs, Articles and Case Studies

Writing articles about your business, or blog posts for your own site, can be hard work. You know what you want to say but getting the phrasing right – or even finding the time to actually do it – can be a task in itself.

And creating meaningful case studies for your website, to showcase the variety of your clients, can be a job that you keep putting to the bottom of your to-do list. Necessary, but not an appealing use of your afternoon.

I specialise in unpicking the thread of gold from the conversation I have with you, and creating a readable article, or blog posts, to tell the story you want told. It’ll still sound like ‘you, on a good day’ to borrow a catchphrase.

With case studies, I’ll work with you to create a template that covers the points you want to make, and help you choose examples to show prospective clients a well-rounded portfolio of your services. I can interview them, if you require, or just pick your brains.

Case Studies

Richards Design and Build asked me to work with them to create a Knowledge Bank, to help show off their expertise, and introduce potential clients to their processes. This involved extensive conversations with their team, and nay hours of independent research.

Matt at Retina Digital accepted my suggestion to create case studies to showcase the breadth of the work he can do. He was so happy with what we produced that he’s recommended another client to me.

“Working with Hannah at HD Words has been an absolute breeze and she has been integral to the success of the site and the process of getting from concept to going live and beyond.”

Kurt Richards

“Hannah is a pleasure to work with as she does her research thoroughly and shows an interest in the dry subjects that are normally the subject of my accountancy and tax blogs. She asks pertinent questions and produces high quality output.”

“I was blown away by the way Hannah was able to take my messaging concept and put it into a clear and easy-to-understand format.

[She created] 6 well crafted case studies, the quality of which hit the nail on the head.”

“Working with Hannah Danson has been one of those quietly brilliant collaborations. The kind that doesn’t shout for attention but leaves a lasting impression.

Hannah brings a calm, thoughtful presence to her work. She listens deeply, not just to what’s said, but to what’s meant. That sensitivity shows in the stories she helps shape. Stories that feel honest, grounded, and gently powerful. She has a way of making people feel safe enough to share, and that’s no small thing.

She’s also quietly tenacious. Whether navigating a string of no-shows or coaxing clarity from a hesitant speaker, Hannah keeps going. Not loudly, but with purpose. She’s organised without being rigid, creative without being chaotic, and always generous with her insight.

What I’ve appreciated most is her instinct for what matters. She knows when a story needs space, when a quote sings, and when to let something go. That kind of editorial intuition makes her a joy to work with.

If you’re looking for someone who brings care, clarity, and quiet strength to creative work, I can’t recommend Hannah enough.”

“I approached Hannah to work on this project, as … I knew she would be the best person to use, with her experience and attention to detail…  She edited the text, …and in addition, she made a number of helpful suggestions about extra items which should be included, as well as sourcing that information.
We were working to a tight deadline and Hannah pulled out all the stops to complete the work in just over a week.
I couldn’t have been happier with the work Hannah did, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone.”
