The HD Words offer
A per-hour rate for communications support, however that looks, and however much of it you need. That can be billed monthly with an upper limit, or call-off invoice, if you require, to meet the needs of your business or charity.

I was part of a three-person team who operated as Interim Communications Team for six months. We supported Kent Surrey Sussex Academic Health Science Network with all their internal and external comms, and assisted with the appointment of their new Head of Comms.
