Background

I met Lynsey via Your Partnerships Networking, and she came to me in November 2023 with a first attempt at text for her small website, which she had drafted using ChatGPT. She was dissatisfied with the result, which sounded like a teenager on Instagram, rather than a professional adult.

Process

I worked with Lynsey to establish the tone she wished to convey, and extracted details of her services from the previous version. I converted the text into a more natural, professional-sounding tone, but maintaining Lynsey’s own voice and humour.

After the website was published, Lynsey also asked me to create text for her client newsletter, which she wanted to send monthly from February 2024. We discussed what this could look like, and brainstormed content, and she accepted the price that I quoted. After a few teething troubles over the summer, this settled into a regular routine, and she added text for her social media posts to my remit for a while as well.

Result

Lynsey is delighted with the website, and the newsletter, and has recommended me to a client of hers, to write case studies for his website.
